You were lucky dude!.. I went about 4 years ago.. as far as Xai-Xai.. prepared though.Had a crew of 4.. had welded a full kitchen and 2000 piece set of mechanical tools and a 4 tonne jack on our 4x4. ..It was still pretty adventurous though.. got stuck in Xai-xai as they filled our entire petrol tank full of diesel! My Italian friends all of a sudden thought they can also colonise the Portuguese with their italian!.. Gasolino instead of Gasolina!... out came the 2 tonnes jack and bush mechanic skills. It all worked out pretty well though.. but we were scared that they wouldn't give our mnoey back as we only had that much left for .. they poured back all the diesl in their vat and let us fill up again... One of the best holidays I've ever had. Did you go to estury near Xai Xai.. can't remember the name now... I'm glad you still have your ipod!.. minus one camera is not that bad considering...
